Hey Ax0n, I've found all the necessary files, and done the necessary modifications in step 1-2 but for some reason I can't get metasploit to function properly with jasager running on the fon. They both fire up, but metasploit doesn't track any of the traffic, and the modified index page that is supposed to display isn't there. Lastly, I can't seem to get the internet connection shared either. So pretty much when I connect to my 'Guest' connection, all I can get is 192.168.1.1:1427 and page cannot be display :(

Just tried out the USB to DC in splice and it works well! Very simple, red to red, black to black, seal them separately, eliminate green and white, seal completely and you're ready to go. Tested with the 2100.

How to replace dropbear on an embedded system with openssh? Is there a tutorial? Or even a high level step by step I can try to follow?

dropbear SSH is after all the only way to access this embeded system, which in this case is a linksys WRT54G running DD-WRT.

I had to flash the firmware to get it to this point, but building my own firmware is well beyond me.

One thing I like about /proc in some situations I can recover accidentally deleted files.

Another thing I like about /proc is I can edit a bash script while it's running and have those changes applied while it's running without killing the script.

For example, I sometimes forget to make my bash scripts to have desktop notifications when they're done. So I edit the bash script in /proc to have the notification without killing it. Then when the script is done I get a notification.

Ohhhhh okay, "It works!" is the default apache web server for Ubuntu. Since it's also on port 80, you need to shut it down before you start metasploit.

You can do this by running:

sudo service apache2 stop

before launching metasploit. If you wish to stop apache2 from ever starting by default again:

sudo update-rc.d -f apache2 remove

And if you decide you want apache2 to start by default again like it does now:

sudo update-rc.d apache2 defaults 91 09

Well, if the script is marked executable (mode 755, let's say) on any OS other than Windows, it will use the file path for newlisp in the first line. If newlisp is elsewhere, change the first line of the script to match the path of newlisp, preceded by the hash-bang (#!)

otherwise, you can always launch it manually with "newlisp twitter.lsp"
